Mehdi Nafti: "The feeling is we missed out on two valuable points, but the team pushed. The rewards for our persistence will come"

C.D. Leganés manager, Mehdi Nafti, spoke in a press conference following the Real Sociedad 'B' match at the Butarque, finishing 1-1 at full time."The feeling is we missed out on two valuable points and on that level, there's not much to be satisfied with: we pushed, pulled and the players didn't let up for a minute, but we lost two potential points. I'm sure the rewards are coming".

"The feeling is we missed out on two valuable points and on that level, there's not much to be satisfied with: we pushed, pulled and the players didn't let up for a minute, but we lost two potential points. I'm sure the rewards are coming".

For the pepinero coach, "the efficiency in the final third was lacking, but we'll keep working on those details. If the rival shoots once at goal, we'll get it to zero; if we're having to put in 30 crosses, we'll practise 60... if that's what it takes, we'll keep working and persist". Once again, Nafti thanked the fans' support at the Butarque: "Today the fans were a big help to us again, despite the cold, and they kept going till the final whistle; they know the team's heart is there but we're lacking accuracy. Now we have two weeks to work on these things, clear our heads and it's part of my job to help them mentally move on because there are a lot of matches to go and I'm sure the rewards are coming".
