Legends of Leganés

DORADO

A central defender who joined the club in 1987, José Luis “Capi” Dorado became one of the era’s icons for the fans. Strong and charismatic, he spent eight seasons at Leganés, achieving the historic promotion of 1993 under coach Luis Ángel Duque.

After that promotion, he continued for two more seasons wearing the white-and-blue shirt in Segunda División, ending his time with Leganés at the close of the 1994/95 season, when he moved to Fuenlabrada. He played a total of 286 official matches for Leganés, scoring three goals.
