Legends of Leganés
CHUSO
A right-sided midfielder, Jesús de Jesús Juana, “Chuso,” joined the first team in the 1990/91 season after entering the club at the youth level and remained with Leganés for six seasons. He was part of the historic squad managed by Luis Ángel Duque that achieved the club’s first-ever promotion to Segunda División in 1993.
Once in the second tier, he played three years in the white-and-blue, helping to establish Leganés in professional football before beginning a new stage of his career in 1996 with Real Carabanchel. He ended his time with Leganés having played 170 matches and scored fourteen goals.
