Legends of Leganés
ALFREDO
A technically skilled and competitively minded central midfielder, Alfredo Sánchez Benito developed at the club before making his debut in the 1993/94 season, the team’s first in Segunda División, under Luis Ángel Duque. He spent five seasons at Leganés, playing 147 matches and scoring seven goals, contributing to the growth of a team that established itself in the second tier during those years.
In the summer of 1998, “Alfredito” ended his time at the club by moving to C.A. Osasuna, where he enjoyed another successful period in his career, spending six years with the team and playing four seasons in Primera División.
