Legends of Leganés
VÍCTOR DÍAZ
A right-back from Seville, he joined Leganés in 2015 from Recreativo de Huelva. In his first season with the club, in Segunda División, he was one of the key figures in the historic promotion to Primera División at Anduva, playing up to forty matches and scoring a goal against Albacete at Butarque.
After the promotion, he continued with the team the following season, etching his name into club history by scoring Leganés’ first goal in Primera División. It came on the opening day against Celta at Balaídos on August 22, 2016—a goal that also secured the team’s first victory in the top tier. He ended his time at Leganés at the close of the 2016/17 season.
