A trip to Tenerife to keep racking up the points 

C.D. Leganés travel to face C.D. Tenerife this Sunday (9.00 pm) at the Estadio Heliodoro Rodríguez López, in a match counting towards matchday five of LALIGA HYPERMOTION 2026/27. The Pepineros will be looking to pick up more points on their second consecutive trip to the Canary Islands.

Leganés are travelling to the Canary Islands for the second week running, following last matchday’s draw at Las Palmas (0–0). The Blue and Whites now face their trip to Tenerife (their fourth away match in five matchdays) without the injured Rubén Peña, Tejero, Franquesa, Diawara and Unax.

For their part, Tenerife go into the match on the back of two matchdays without a win, having started LaLiga with two victories in their first two matches. With seven points on the table on their return to the second tier, manager Álvaro Cervera could be without his key player, the injured Jesús Álvarez, who is carrying a niggle.

Around fifty Leganés supporters will be in Tenerife to cheer on their team.
