1. MINORS
With the C.D. Leganés youth academy
You join the club's youth teams, in your age group and level. You train with the elite section of the development stage: the same kids, the same coaches, the same demands. It's the inside experience, not something put together separately.
2. Over 18
With the teams from the International Academy
You train within the Academy’s structure, with players from over 30 nationalities and the club’s coaching staff. 4 or 5 sessions a week, with video and gym integrated. And friendly matches against Spanish clubs.
3. once you finish

Frequently Asked Questions
ABOUT Elite Intensive
No. It's a training program within the club's structure, with evaluation and a technical report at the end. It's not a tryout and doesn't guarantee access to C.D. Leganés teams. What it does do is get you inside: you train with the club, with its method and coaches, and you leave knowing where you stand. Many players use Elite Intensive as a gateway to Performance Year or Academic Year.
From one week. You choose the duration. It's the most flexible program at the academy and the gateway to the club. The duration and your nationality determine if you need a visa. Any stay longer than 90 days requires a student visa, regardless of your nationality. And some passports need a Schengen visa from day one, even for just a week.
It depends on the age. Those under 16 join the youth teams of C.D. Leganés, in their age group and level: they train with the elite section of the club's development stage. Spots in these categories are very limited. From 16 years old, the player trains with the teams of the International Academy.
Teams from the International Academy, starting at 16 years old, regularly play friendly matches against Spanish clubs. For those under 16, playing in matches depends on each week's sports planning. The academy does not guarantee playing time in these age groups.
No. In Elite Intensive, those under 18 come accompanied by a family member or a legal guardian. That's the difference with Performance Year and Academic Year, where the club can arrange legal guardianship for players aged 16 and up.
An individual technical report with physical, technical, tactical, and mental sections, which you can request at the end. It's the same report that players in the long programs receive, made with the data from your stay. You leave knowing where you are and what to work on.
The programs at the International Academy start at 300 euros. In Elite Intensive, the conditions depend on the length of your stay and whether it includes accommodation, which is optional in this program. Each application gets a proposal with the details of their case.
It depends on your nationality and the duration. EU citizens don’t need a visa. Nationals from exempt countries can train for up to 90 days without a visa. All other nationalities need a Schengen visa from day one, even for a week. Any stay longer than 90 days requires a student visa.
