Born in Sant Cugat de Vallès, Franquesa trained in the youth ranks of F.C. Barcelona, making his debut with the club's reserve team while still a junior in the 2015/16 season. The following season, he played on loan at C.E. Sabadell and C.F. Gavà, before joining Villarreal C.F. ‘B’ in 2017. With the Yellow Submarine's reserve team, he spent two seasons in Segunda División ‘B’, playing nearly 50 games and competing in two promotion playoffs.
In 2019, he made the leap to LaLiga SmartBank with C.D. Mirandés. With the Anduva-based club, he made 27 appearances and reached the semifinals of the Copa del Rey. In 2020/21, he moved to Girona F.C., playing 34 games in which he scored four goals and came close to promotion to the First Division, losing in the playoff final to Rayo Vallecano, a final in which Franquesa scored a goal.
In 2021, he made his LaLiga Santander debut with Levante U.D., where he played for a season and a half. In January 2023, he moved to Butarque, where he played 13 games and 923 minutes in the second half of that season. In the summer, he renewed his loan to become one of the best full-backs in the category and achieved promotion to LALIGA EA SPORTS, after which he became a full-fledged Pepinero player.
