Jorge Sáenz

Trained in the C.D. Tenerife youth academy, Jorge Sáenz made his debut with the first team in LaLiga SmartBank in the 2014/15 season, at just eighteen years of age. His youth and impressive performances caught the attention of several LaLiga Santander clubs, with Valencia C.F. securing his services in the summer of 2019. Over the next two seasons, he played for R.C. Celta, making his debut with the Vigo-based team in the First Division.

After spells with Marítimo in the Portuguese First Division and C.D. Mirandés, Jorge Sáenz arrived at Butarque on loan in 2022. From the outset, the former Spanish Under-21 international established himself as one of the pillars of the Pepinera defense, finishing the season with 38 games played and being the second most used player in the squad. In 2023, he signed a permanent contract, becoming one of the captains of the squad and a hero of the promotion to LALIGA EA SPORTS.
