Juan Cruz

Juan Cruz, born in Argentina but raised in Spain, came up through the Málaga C.F. youth academy, progressing through all the youth ranks before making his LALIGA debut in May 2018, aged just 17. After several seasons split between the first team and Málaga's reserve team, he scored his first goal in a cup tie against Coruxo in the 2020/21 season.

At the end of that season, he joined Real Betis, playing his first season with the reserve team. In 2022/23, he played his first minutes with Betis' first team, scoring his first goal in the top flight at the Reale Arena against Real Sociedad. In the 2023/24 season, he played in eight matches with Betis before being loaned to Leganés in January, where he had a great second half of the season and actively contributed to the team's promotion to LALIGA EA SPORTS, after which he signed a permanent contract as a Pepinero player.

A left-footed player with good technique and dribbling skills, he can play on the right wing or in any attacking position behind the striker.
