Patrick Soko

A product of Les Astres F.C. in Cameroon, Soko played in the Dominican Republic and Mexico (Atlas, Atlante, and Mineros de Zacatecas) before arriving in Spain, where he joined Racing de Santander in 2020. In his second season with the Cantabrian club, he helped the team earn promotion to LALIGA HYPERMOTION, playing a standout role by scoring seven goals and recording eleven assists.

The following year, he made his debut in the second division after signing with S.D. Huesca. After spending a year on loan at U.D. Ibiza, he returned to the Huesca-based club to have the best season of his career in 2024–25. That year, Soko was his team’s leading scorer and ranked in the top 10 in the league, with thirteen goals and four assists.

His performances led to a move to U.D. Almería, where he appeared in twenty-three official matches last season, coming within a hair’s breadth of promotion to LALIGA EA SPORTS. Soko is a senior international for Cameroon, representing the national team at the most recent Africa Cup of Nations.
