Roberto López

Roberto López is an attacking midfielder, left-footed, with a great shot and who can play both as an attacking midfielder and from the right wing. Trained since the youth teams at Real Sociedad, he joined the reserve team in the 2018/19 season, the same season in which he made his debut with the first team in the First Division in a match against Espanyol in January 2019.

His good performances for Sanse the following season saw him become part of the first team's dynamic upon their return after the pandemic, establishing himself in 2020/21, playing twenty official matches between La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Europa League, and scoring three goals. That season, he also became a Spanish U21 international.

Real Sociedad B's promotion to the Second Division in 2021 led the txuri-urdin club to give him the opportunity to continue in the category, where he scored four goals and showed his class in his debut in the silver division. His breakthrough came during his loan spell at Mirandés, where he stood out with eight goals, some of them spectacular, and five assists. He achieved similar results in 2023/24 on loan at Tenerife, where he finished the season with seven goals and six assists.

In 2024, he joined C.D. Leganés.
