It was a perfect weekend for the three youth teams from the Cantera Pepinera, who all secured victories in their respective matches.
The Juvenil A team won the División de Honor derby against Getafe C.F. ‘A’ (2-1) in the match corresponding to the eleventh round of Group 5. Iker Bachiller scored the first goal of the match in the third minute, converting a penalty committed on Escamilla. In the second half, Iñigo Borgio extended the lead in the 64th minute after a great individual play. With twenty minutes to go, the visitors managed to reduce the deficit, but the three points stayed in Leganés.
This was the third consecutive victory for Manolo Rueda's team, which now sits in fifth place with 19 points.
The Juvenil B team picked up three points in their match against Atlético Chopera Alcobendas (0-1) in the twelfth round of Group 12 of the National League. Javier Roa's team is in third place with 25 points, level with Atlético de Madrid, who are in second place.
Meanwhile, the Juvenil C team continues its unstoppable run in Group 2 of the First Division. Adrián Cascos's team beat C.D.A. Navalcarnero A 3-0 in the twelfth round and are now the sole leaders with 32 points out of a possible 36.
