Where do you train
You train at the club.
The International Academy trains at the two official facilities of C.D. Leganés. These are the fields where the club's official teams and their youth academy train.
Where do you live
A residence, not a shared apartment.
The International Academy works with two university residences around the club, both with full board, cleaning, and laundry included. They are not temporary accommodations.
About the assignment: We assign the accommodation according to your needs and the season's availability. The details, conditions, and the option for a single room will be finalized in your personalized proposal once the spot is confirmed.

For an 18-year-old moving out on their own, training is just one part of it. If rest, food, language, and medical care on a Sunday aren’t taken care of, performance drops.
That’s why we offer more than just coaches and camps: We provide official housing, a dining hall, and an International Area team available in four languages.
In-person attention
Staff available at the residence 24 hours a day. Direct support in Spanish, English, French, and Arabic to handle any daily needs.
Family support
Smooth and direct communication with families. An open channel in four languages to keep parents informed and at ease at all times.
Medical and logistical assistance
Comprehensive management in your language: medical assistance, paperwork, and logistical support so the player only has to worry about performing.

Over 18s: The club can arrange legal guardianship through the European School of Sports (optional service with an extra cost), allowing the player to travel without their family.
And something that applies to all three: Under-16s join the C.D. Leganés youth teams according to their age and level. Spots are very limited, and participation in matches depends solely on sports criteria, with no guaranteed playing time.

Leganés is a city in the south of Madrid with its own university life, with the club at the center of that life. It's not an isolated campus: You go out to the street and there’s a city. Madrid is a quarter of an hour away by train.

About life in the academy
Yes. It doesn't train on fields rented from third parties. The International Academy trains at the club's two official facilities: the Jesús Polo Annex Stadium and the Butarque Sports Facility, the same fields where C.D. Leganés' official teams and youth academy train. The I.D. Butarque is the same facility where the first team works, and it has a gym, physiotherapy services, and video analysis rooms.
In Spanish, English, French, and Arabic. The International Area team assists the player and their family in any of those 4 languages, both by phone and in person. Life in the residence and in the locker room is in Spanish, and many players arrive without speaking it: you learn it day by day.
In university residences near the club, just a few minutes from the training facilities. Both offer full board, cleaning and laundry services, a gym, and common areas, and you live alongside Spanish university students. The room can be shared or private; the private room must be requested separately and has a different cost. The club takes the player's preference into account and assigns the residence based on their needs and seasonal availability.
It depends on the program. In Elite Intensive, minors under 18 come with a family member or accredited legal guardian. In Performance Year and Academic Year, from age 16, the club can arrange legal guardianship through the European School of Sports: you request it when signing up and it’s quoted separately. In that case, the player can come without their family.
Yes. The academy players attend C.D. Leganés matches at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque, from the stands and with the fans. The program also includes guided tours of the stadium's internal areas and participation in the club's official activities throughout the season.
In Leganés, a city south of Madrid with its own university life, just fifteen minutes from downtown Madrid by train. The training facilities are the Jesús Polo Annex Stadium and the Butarque Sports Facility.
The residences offer full board. Nutritional guidance is adapted to the workload of each week, in coordination with the club's technical staff.
