C.D. Leganés player Enric Franquesa has suffered a Grade II-III sprain of the lateral collateral ligament in his left knee.
The Pepinero fullback sustained the injury during last Saturday’s match against C.D. Tenerife, part of the 46th edition of the Villa de Leganés Trophy. Given the joint’s current stability, conservative treatment is being considered, and an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament graft has been ruled out.
The player’s recovery time will depend on his functional progress.
