C.D. Leganés visits U.D. Las Palmas this Friday (8:30 p.m.) at Estadio Gran Canaria for a match on Matchday 4 of LALIGA HYPERMOTION. The Pepineros will look to extend their strong start to the league season at one of the division’s toughest away venues.
This marks Leganés’ third away game in four matchdays as they look to keep racking up points. Rubén Albés’s team has already earned points in Girona and Oviedo, and now they aim to do the same in Gran Canaria. To achieve this, the Leganés coach could have his latest signings, Morata and Montero, at his disposal, while Raúl Fernández returns from suspension; however, he’ll be without the injured Tejero, Franquesa, Diawara, and Unax.
For its part, U.D. Las Palmas comes into the match after suffering its first loss of the season last Saturday in Girona (5-2). The “Yellows” won their only home game against Albacete (2-1) and aim to continue building their home form despite the absences of Jesé (suspended), Sergio Ruiz, and Opoku (injured), as well as the uncertainty surrounding the slightly injured Iván Jaime.
About fifty Pepineros fans will make the trip to Gran Canaria for a match to be officiated by referee Rafael Sánchez.
