C.D. Leganés visits Cádiz C.F. this Saturday (6:30 p.m.) at the JP Financial Stadium in a match for Matchday 8 of LALIGA HYPERMOTION 2026/27. The Pepineros will look to get back on the winning track against an opponent seeking its first victory.
Leganés returns to the road after two consecutive home games, aiming to get back to winning ways after failing to earn any points against the league leader. Rubén Albés’s squad welcomes back Gharbi, after he played for his national team, as well as Tejero—who was already called up for the match against Castellón after overcoming his nagging injury—and Franquesa, following nearly two months on the sidelines. However, they will be without the injured Rubén Peña and Diawara.
For their part, Cádiz heads into the match needing to secure their first win of the season. The Yellow-and-Blacks will be without international players Kovacevic, who is with Serbia’s U-21 team, and Toibibou, who is with the Comoros national team. Additionally, head coach Albert Celades may not be able to count on the injured Tabatadze, Cristian, and Gocholeishvili.
More than a hundred fans will gather in Cádiz to cheer on Leganés as they seek another victory.
