Leganés B returns to winning ways

C.D. Leganés’ reserve team secured its first road win of the season with a 1-2 victory over Rayo Ciudad Alcobendas in the match corresponding to Matchday 7 of Group 7 in the Tercera Federación.

BURCIO AND BELDA SCORE IN THE COMEBACK

The team coached by Abraham García earned all three points in a match where they fell behind in the 56th minute, but Burcio equalized on the very next play right after the kickoff. In the 72nd minute, Carlos Belda scored the winning goal with a powerful left-footed shot from the edge of the box.

Leganés B thus returns to the winning track three matchdays after its last victory. The “Pepineros” reserve team sits in tenth place with 10 points, two points behind the promotion playoff spots and four points behind the league-leading Las Rozas C.F.

Their next league match will be on Sunday, October 25, at 12:00 p.m. at I.D. Butarque against C.F. Trival Valderas, currently in sixth place with 12 points.
