C.D. Leganés and Cabify have reached a multi-season agreement through which the mobility company becomes an official sponsor of the club. With this alliance, both entities join forces to promote joint initiatives centered around innovation, sustainable mobility, and bringing the club closer to its fans.
Precisely, one of the first actions taken by the Madrid-based company has been to commit to the club's Member No. 1, Gego, by ensuring he can be brought to the stadium whenever he needs it, as the longest-standing season ticket holder faces serious mobility difficulties. In this way, Gego will be able to come to the Ontime Butarque whenever he wishes, thanks to Cabify and C.D. Leganés.
Furthermore, as part of the agreement, Cabify will have a prominent presence across various club assets. For the men's and women's first teams, it will occupy the front of the training shirts, while for the Youth Academy and the School, the brand will appear on the neck/back area above the player's number. Additionally, it will have physical visibility at the Ontime Butarque Stadium, including LED pitchside boards, scoreboards, static second-tier UTV, and billboards, both at the Butarque Sports Facility and the Jesús Polo Annex.
“A shared strategic vision built on innovation and close connections with our community and supporters”
At the digital level, Cabify will be present on the club's official channels through a slide banner and footer on the website and mobile application, as well as on digital tickets for matches at Ontime Butarque. The agreement also includes an exclusive promotional activation during the season, aimed at the "pepinera" fanbase.
Additionally, Cabify will have access to grandstand and corporate box tickets and joins as a new member of the Business Club, reinforcing its relationship with the city's business community.
"We are particularly excited to finalize this agreement with a Madrid-based company like Cabify, with whom we share the same strategic vision based on innovation and proximity to our community and fans. The beautiful gesture they had with Gego demonstrates this joint commitment. This alliance allows us to continue growing alongside a partner that understands sports as a tool to connect with people and contribute to the development of our environment. In Madrid, always Lega and always Cabify," stated the Vice President of C.D. Leganés, Eduardo Cosín.
“Mobility that lives up to one of Madrid’s most authentic and committed fanbases”
"We want the journey to the Ontime Butarque Stadium to be the first minute of the match. Our goal is that, whether celebrating a victory or faithfully attending the appointment every Sunday, mobility is at the level of one of the most authentic and committed fanbases in Madrid. Today, Gego, the club's Member No. 1, was present during the presentation of this agreement. From now on, he will be able to travel to the stadium with Cabify whenever he needs it, so that mobility difficulties are never an impediment and he can continue enjoying every match at the pitch," says Alberto González, General Manager of Cabify Spain.
With this alliance, C.D. Leganés adds a new traveling companion committed to urban mobility and the development of Madrid sports. Welcome to the "pepinera" family!
