Draw in the second friendly game of the summer

C.D. Leganés continues accumulating preparation minutes with a friendly match disputed this Friday against Albacete Balompié at the Instalación Deportiva Butarque, which finalized in a draw (0-0).

The debut of Franco-Moroccan midfielder Yassine Kechta was the main novelty in Rubén Albés' starting eleven, which also featured homegrown central defender Beltrán Paolucci as a starter. Under the intense heat presiding over the match at the Instalación Deportiva Butarque, Leganés held the dominance in the opening minutes, with a chance in the 10th minute from Roberto López, whose chip went wide after a good combination.

Incursions down the left by Franquesa and details from Kechta in midfield were among the highlights of the first half, in which Lega enjoyed more possession, although Albacete had their best opportunity right at the edge of half-time with a strike from Pacheco arriving from behind that the defense deflected to a corner.

Naim, with a shot that hit the post, had Leganés' best chance in the second half

With renewed lineups in the second half (only Roberto López repeated after the break), Naim had the best chance for Leganés with a crossed left-footed shot that crashed against the post. The team will travel this Saturday to Portugal to carry out a one-week training camp in the town of Melgaço, where they will face Nacional de Madeira on Wednesday at 12:00 hours and Penafiel next Friday, also at 12:00 hours.
