C.D. Leganés striker Borja Garcés made his official debut in blue and white on Saturday. He came on to play in the last half hour of the match against U.D. Ibiza at the Butarque, displaying his ability to get forward and coming close to putting himself on the score sheet.
Garcés had his first look on the pitch in the 59' when he was substituted on for Sabin Merino just after the momentous equaliser José Arnaiz produced. Donning the number '28', the ex Atlético de Madrid players showed his fluidity in attack, dropping wide to create openings and offering dangerous options.
His closest chance came in the 71', when he received the ball inside the box thanks to Luis Perea, but his left-footer only found the side netting.
