C.D. Leganés already knows its twenty-one rivals for the next 2021/22 season in LaLiga SmartBank. The pepineros will have two Madrid derbies against A.D. Alcorcón and C.F. Fuenlabrada, and will play for the first time against a new rival, U.D. Ibiza-Eivissa.
The silver category will be formed this coming season by three teams from Madrid, the same number as the Basque teams (S.D. Eibar, S.D. Amorebieta and Real Sociedad 'B'), and only surpassed by the four teams from Castilla-León (Real Valladolid, S.D. Ponferradina, C.D. Mirandés and Burgos C.F.).
The competition will start on August 14-15 and will end on May 28.
With two representatives will be the autonomous communities of Asturias (Real Sporting and Real Oviedo), Aragón (Real Zaragoza and S.D. Huesca), Andalucía (Málaga C.F. and U.D. Almería) and the Canary Islands (U.D. Las Palmas and C.D. Tenerife). Galicia (C.D. Lugo), Catalonia (Girona F.C.), Region of Murcia (F.C. Cartagena) and Balearic Islands (U.D. Ibiza-Eivissa) will have one representative.
The competition will officially start on the weekend of August 14-15, with the regular league scheduled to end on May 28, 2022, with the subsequent promotion play-off during the month of June.
