This Tuesday C.D. Leganés and Getafe C.F. agreed to the sale of Argentine Jonathan Cristian Silva. The 27 year old defender ends his run as a pepinero after three proud seasons, not including the start of this new campaign, and will say goodbye to the blue and white colours.
Silva arrived at Leganés in the 2018 transfer window on loan from Sporting in Portugal, enjoying a tremendous first season at the club under Mauricio Pellegrino, notching three goals and providing six assists. Under Pellegrino, he completed the following two seasons in blue and white, first in LaLiga Santander in 2019/20, and then again in LaLiga SmartBank in 2020/21, as well as taking part in two matches in this 2021/22 campaign.
The club thanks him for his services during his time as a pepinero, and wishes him every success in the future.
