C.D. Leganés and 22-year-old Brazilian winger William de Camargo reached an agreement to extend his contract until the end of the 2022/23 season. The young player will play on loan at R.C. Deportivo de La Coruña during the 2021/22 season.
William arrived at Leganés in 2017 from Sao Paulo to play for the pepinero reserve team, being called up to the first team for two games at the end of the 2017/18 season. In the following year he was loaned to Ukrainian F.C. Karpaty Lviv, joining F.C. Cartagena in 2019/20, a club with which he won promotion to LaLiga SmartBank.
With the Albinegros he continued in the last campaign 2020/21, debuting in the silver category and playing twelve games before leaving in the winter market to Valencia Mestalla, a subsidiary ché in which he played another twelve games.
