Leganés came out more intense in the second half, with a shot by Rubén Pardo in 51' that Belman saved with his foot when the goal was already scored. However, the visitors took the lead in minute 54 with a long-range shot by Cristóbal that made it 0-1. Soon after, Garitano had to make his second substitution due to Eraso's discomfort, with Kevin Bua coming on in his place.
In minute 68, Borja Bastón had another chance in the area that Belman blocked with his feet. Luis Perea and Brandon came on in place of Rubén Pérez and José Arnaiz in search of an equalizer. But, in minute 77, Fuenlabrada scored the second goal through Pulido after a set piece.
Leganés could not close the gap in the final stretch, ending the match with the visitors' victory. The pepineros remain with 53 points in fourth position and their next match will be next Saturday (18:15) against U.D. Almería.
