C.D. Leganés chases its second win in its visits to R.C.D. Mallorca

C.D. Leganés will be looking for the second victory in their history this Thursday (7:00 p.m.) in their visits to R.C.D. Mallorca. The pepineros have faced the bermellones seven times in Balearic territory, with a balance of one win, three draws and three local victories.

The only victory for the Blue and Whites came in the 2014/15 season, when they won 0-2 thanks to goals from Diego Aguirre and Chuli. The following year, the year of promotion to the First Division, they were unable to win, however, as they were defeated by a clear 3-0 scoreline. The last precedent corresponds to last season, in the only clash in the top flight, and ended in a draw (1-1) with a goal by Óscar Rodríguez from a direct free kick.
The first duels between Mallorca and Leganés date back to the nineties, when they met for four consecutive seasons in the Second Division. The Balearic side won two of those matches, while the Pepineros drew in 1993/94 (1-1, with a goal by Peces) and 1995/96 (1-1, with a goal by Rodri).
