C.D. Leganés face Cultural Leonesa in the second round of the Copa de S.M. El Rey

C.D. Leganés can confirm their next opponents in the Copa de S.M. El Rey. The Pepineros line up against Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa in a single away elimination game at the Estadio Reino de León on Wednesday 15th December (date and time to be confirmed).

The Pepineros played against Xerez Deportivo F.C. in their first cup encounter (1-2) at the Chapín, winning thanks to goals from Naim and Doukouré, and now turn their attention to the next stage of cup football in the hopes of building up a run to advance through each of the rounds.

Cultural Leonesa proceed after having defeated C.D. San Fernando in their first round (2-3), and return home to host their next cup tie. La Leonesa, who battle in Group 1 of Primera División RFEF, currently occupied 11th in the table with 20 points from their last 14 games.
