C.D Leganés keep adding points at Ibiza (1-1)

C.D. Leganés sum a point against U.D. Ibiza in their visit at Can Misses (1-1). Guerrero scored the first goal for the local team, after a penalty shot by the referee using the VAR, at first it was saved by Dani Jiménez. Nevertheless R+ober Ibáñez score five minutes after he enter the pitch

Arnaiz and Herrera got the best opportunities in the first half without any goals. 

C.D Leganés was on the grass of the Can Misses stadium with the same line up use on the last game with C.D Mirandés at Butarque. The idea of this is to provide a good dynamic and functioning of the team in the last game weeks. The first attempt as done after 2 minutes of the match when Rubén Pardo try to score after a direct foul that the goalkeeper Germán sent to the corner. At the seventh minute Arnaiz tried the local keeper ater a personal play on the central of the field

Ibiza responded to the attacks with a shot from Herrera that was controlled by Dani Jimenez at the 21 minute. The ball was under the control of the local team against a Leganés that was playing organized and controlling any action, until the 44 minutes that Qasmi tried a long shot that  hit the defense and sent it to the corner. With a 0-0 the match went to half time.

The second part initiated without any pepinero changes, and on the 50’ Bárcenas makes the visitors celebrate a goal, but it was annulled due to an offside of the player from Panamá that kept a doubt on the validity of the action. Nevertheless the match continued with a 0-0 and again the VAR entered in discussion because on the minute 54 the referee sanctioned a penalty after a struggle in the box between Sergio Gonzáñez and Rúben.  In the first instance, Dani jiménez stopped the shot from Guerrero, however the rebound stopped on the feet of the sticker that send the ball inside the goal. 

On the minute 60’ Mehdi Nafti makes the first two substitutions, Róber Ibáñez and Jon Bautista enter the field for Bárcenas and Qasmi. Róber was the key, because on the 65’ minute, after the team recover a ball from a high pressing from Pardo who center the ball and Arnaiz shot at first, but the ball didn't enter and there was Ibáñez wo could shot at the end and set the equalizer. 

Seven consecutive matches without losing for a solid Leganés

Leganés was still trying to get the second goal of the match, and the tranquility of the match. On the minute 82 Shibasaki Gaku entered for Rúben Pardo in the center of the field and it was the third chance for Nafti. Javi Hernández on the 84'tried a long distance shot, but the ball went high, already on the 86’ minute Randjelovic and Eraso substitute Arnaiz and Recio. 

There was no time for more, and Leganés accumulated their seven consecutive match without losing so the team can be set with 41 points on the classification. The next match for the pepinero team will be next sunda, 20 of march (18:15 hours) at Butarque against Real Sporting Gijón.
