This Sunday, C.D. Leganés will visit the NMR Carlos Tartiere for the seventh time in an official match to face Real Oviedo. The pepineros have only been able to take the three points on one occasion, precisely in the last precedent in the 2015/16 season.
It was the match of the antepenultimate matchday of that league in which Leganés took a giant step towards promotion to the First Division. Gabriel Pires' goal and the penalty saved by Jon Ander Serantes are already part of the collective memory of all the pepineros.
Villa, the only goal scorer at the Tartiere before Gabriel Pires.
The Blue and Whites had suffered worse luck in their previous five visits to Oviedo. In the first two, in the Second Division, they were held to a 0-0 draw in the 2001/02 season, and to a 1-1 draw the following year, with a goal scored by Pablo Villa.
The other three precedents correspond to Second Division 'B', with a goalless draw in the 2009/10 campaign, and two clear victories for the carbayones: 5-0 in 2011/12 and 3-0 in 2012/13.
