C.D. Leganés Senior Women's returns to competition against C.D.E. Magerit

C.D. Leganés Senior Femenino returns this Sunday (13:45) to the official competition to face C.D.E. Magerit away, and does so with the aim of taking the three points against a team that still does not know what it is to score at home this season. The Magerit faces the game with the need to open his locker at home and continue in the good line after his victory in the previous day.

The Christmas break, Filomena... It seems that the time would never come to return to competition for C.D. Leganes Senior Women, but after more than a month, the day has arrived. Jero Martos' team returns to the league, and they do it with very good feelings after the last results. Our team has not known defeat since the first day of the league, where they lost 3-2 against Fundación Rayo Vallecano. The rest of the matches have ended with victories, an average of three goals scored per game and also, leaving a clean sheet in three of the four league matches, a fact that speaks very well of the defensive level of the team.

"With effort and sacrifice, we don't know any other way to achieve our objectives".

The pepineran coach, Jero Martos, does not change his speech, and assures that "the team has worked well, and is prepared to face the match with the intention of getting the three points", but without giving up "the idea of the game and the work of the whole week". Jero is clear about how to achieve and fight for the objectives, and it is no other way than "with effort and sacrifice, we don't know any other way", he said.

The Magerit, with the need to win at home

For its part, C.D.E. Magerit does not know what it is to win at home this season, and comes to the game with the need to make it three and get their first three points in their stadium. They have taken half of the points at stake, six out of twelve, but both victories have been away.
Our team is third in the standings, with a balance of three wins and only one loss, which translates into nine points out of a possible twelve, while C.D.E. Magerit is ninth, with six points out of a possible twelve, with two wins and two losses in their four games played.
