C.D. Leganés will receive Albacete Balompié this Sunday (18:15), in what will be the eleventh visit of the La Mancha side in an official match. So far, the pepineros have won in four of the precedents, the last two in a row, with three draws and three Albacete wins.
Nine of the ten previous matches were played in the Second Division, and another in the Second 'B' Division. The first clash on the Puebla ground was played in the 1996/97 season, and ended in a 2-1 win for Puebla, with goals from Juanmi and Pedro Largo. The other victories came in 1999/00 (1-0, with a goal from Ángel Miguel Merino), 2014/15 (2-0, with a double from Chuli), and 2015/16 (3-2, with goals from Víctor Díaz, Szymanowski and Sastre).
Three of the other matches between Pepineros and La Mancha ended in draws, while Albacete won three of their visits, the last of them in the only precedent in the bronze category, when they won 1-3 despite Rubén Navarro's goal for the Blue and Whites.
