C.D Leganés will receive A.D Alcorcón’s visit. The twentieth derby between pepineros and alfareros

C.D Leganés will receive A.D Alcorcón at Butarque this Sunday (14:00h).  It will be the twentieth derby between pepineros and alfareros. Both teams have faced each other on Preferente, Tercera, Segunda 'B', and Segunda División.

Leganés and Alcorcón have played nineteen derbies at Municipal Luis Rodríguez de Miguel and Estadio Municipal Butarque. The first match was for the first matchday of the 1975/76 Preferente season and ended up with a 0-1 win for the visitors. The first win for the pepineros arrived on the following season after a hat-trick by Moris.

The last derby at Butarque was for the white and blues

C.D Leganés has managed to win nine derbies, draw on five occasions and the yellows have won on another five occasions. In addition to the first win, the pepineros won on the 1977/78 season playing at Tercera División (2-0) with goals by Chamochín and Jiménez and did the same during the next four consecutive seasons between 1980 and 1984.

Leganés won on the 2004/05 season while playing on Segunda 'B' by 2-0 with two goals scored by Márquez. The 2007/08 match was also a win (3-1) with two goals by Berodia and another one by Monasterio. The last win at Butarque was for LaLiga SmartBank in the 2015/16 season, that day the white and blues defeat the alfareros 3-0 with two goals by Guillermo and one by Szymanowski.
