C.D Leganés will join, as the last five seasons, to the celebrations of the international day against the LGTBIfobia in sport, showing the compromise for a more justice and equal society. The captain will wear the rainbow armband on monday (21:00 hours) in the match against S.D Amorebieta.
This season, the support of the first team will be visible next monday on the match of LaLiga Smartbank against S.D Amorebieta in Lezama, when the captain will wear the rainbow armband that represents the fights against any type of homophobia and discrimination for reasons of the sexual orientation,as happened on the last campaing.
The meeting with Legaynés is on saturday for awarness and the deliver of the armband
Next saturday, after the training sesion of the team, Luis Santidrián, president of the Legaynés (defence association of the colective rights LGTBI in our city), will meet with the pepineros captains for providing them awarness of the needs for guarantee the equal treat on sport and preventing them of descrimination behaviors for gender reasons, besides to give them the armband face the match on monday.
The international day of LGTBIfobia in the sports is celebrate every 19 of february in memory of Justin Fashanu, english player that suicide himself after the presure he receives after he declares homosexual.
