C.D. Leganés and Dani Raba to continue together in the 2024/25 season

The Cantabrian will remain in the Pepinero discipline after extending his contract with the club.

C.D. Leganés and Cantabrian playmaker Daniel Raba Antolín, 28, will continue together in the 2024/25 season after extending their relationship for one more season with promotion to the First Division. The player from Santander will be in his third season in the Blue and Whites' jersey, his first in LALIGA EA SPORTS.

Leganés thus ensures the presence in his return to the top flight of a fundamental player last season, in which he became a key player for Borja Jiménez, playing 34 games in which he scored eight goals and distributed seven assists, being the player who participated in more goals during the season, despite missing nearly two months due to injury.

Raba arrived at Leganés in the summer of 2022 after spending most of his career at Villarreal C.F., a team with whom he made his Primera División debut in 2017 and with whom he lifted the UEFA Europa League title in 2021, as well as playing in the Champions League and contesting a European Super Cup final. After a brief spell at Granada, the Cantabrian has accumulated 66 official matches as a Pepinero, in which he has scored twelve goals and distributed ten assists. Last June 2 was his second promotion to the First Division, after the one achieved also in 2020 with S.D. Huesca.

The '10' will continue as a Blue and Whites' player in the 2024/25 season, now in the elite of our soccer.
