Club Deportivo Leganés continues to consolidate its international presence with an outstanding activity in Mexico, where it was invited by BKA Athletes and the Secretary of Tourism of the State of Hidalgo. Between 14 and 17 July, the Madrid-based club took part in a sporting event held at the Revolution Sports Center, located in the city of Pachuca.
During four intensive days, more than 50 young footballers took part in training sessions following the official methodology of CD Leganés' international academy. This experience not only allowed the players to experience first-hand the demands and professionalism of European football, but also served as a talent spotting opportunity: two of the participants will be selected to travel to Leganés in the near future, where they will continue their training in Spain.
In addition to the sporting component, CD Leganés also had a presence at the Santiago de Anaya Gastronomic Fair, one of the most renowned in the region, organised in collaboration with the local government and the Ministry of Tourism. The event brought together more than 1,300 traditional Mexican dishes, making it a unique cultural experience and a sign of the growing bond between the club and the Hidalgo community.
These initiatives reaffirm CD Leganés' commitment to the development of international talent and cultural exchange, positioning itself as a benchmark in the promotion of sport and institutional collaboration beyond its borders.
