C.D. Leganés reached an agreement on Thursday with 23-year-old midfielder Andrés Campos Bautista to join the club for the next two seasons. The young player from the Canary Islands arrives from Real Madrid Castilla after spending the last three seasons in the white youth academy.
A native of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Andrés Campos was trained at Unión Viera before being recruited by U.D. Las Palmas, where he competed up to the infantile category. At cadet age he was signed by Villarreal C.F., where he completed his youth stage, subsequently playing two seasons in the second groguet subsidiary.

In the summer of 2022, Campos signed for Real Madrid C.F., playing his first season as a Real Madrid player for RSC Internacional F.C., the second reserve team, with whom he played in the promotion playoff. Consolidated the following year as one of the key players of Real Madrid ‘C’, he was called up with Castilla on several occasions, finally being promoted last season and participating regularly in the First Federation.
An attacking left-footed player who normally plays in the center of the field, Andrés is characterized by his ball striking, good technique and power. The new Pepinero player signs until 2027 and the date of his presentation will be confirmed in the coming days.
