C.D. Leganés strengthens its offensive lineup with the signing of Óscar Plano

The Madrilenian signs for one season after achieving promotion to LALIGA EA SPORTS with Elche C.F.

C.D. Leganés reached an agreement this Wednesday with attacking midfielder Óscar Plano Pedreño, 34 years old, for his incorporation into the pepinero club for the current season. The player from Móstoles, with extensive experience in our football and three promotions to LALIGA EA SPORTS under his belt, strengthens the attacking area of Paco López's team this season.

Trained in the youth academy of Real Madrid C.F., Óscar Plano boasts an extensive career in our league, with more than 500 matches as a professional. He debuted with Real Madrid Castilla in 2011, achieving promotion to the Second Division the following season and making his debut in the silver category in the 2012/13 season. The following summer, he signed for A.D. Alcorcón, a club where he would remain for four seasons, playing 150 matches, scoring twenty-three goals, and providing fifteen assists.

In the summer of 2017, Plano signed with Real Valladolid, the club where he has played the most matches throughout his career. He stayed with the pucelanos for six seasons, four of them in LALIGA EA SPORTS and two in LALIGA HYPERMOTION, achieving promotion to the top category in both. As a blanquivioleta, he demonstrated his quality, closing his time at Zorrilla with 229 official matches played, twenty-seven goals, and more than thirty assists.

Arrives at Butarque after achieving his third promotion to LALIGA EA SPORTS a few months ago

His last professional stage before arriving at Butarque was with Elche C.F. As a franjiverde, he played the last two seasons, scoring eleven goals and achieving last June the third promotion of his career to the elite of our football.

A left-footed attacking midfielder who can play on either wing, behind the striker, or even as a forward, Óscar Plano now arrives at Butarque in a new professional stage where he will seek to help Leganés achieve their goals in this 2025/26 season. The Madrid native will wear the number '20' and will be presented this Thursday, August 7, at 1:00 PM at the Butarque Sports Facility.
