Five debuts and a scorer debut after matchday one at Butarque

Sergio G., Luis Perea, Shibasaki, Borja Bastón and Juan Muñoz played their first official match as pepineros. Juan Muñoz also scored his first goal with C.D Leganés.

C.D Leganés started the season last Saturday with a win against U.D Las Palmas (1-0). It was the first official match with the white and blue jersey for five players and for the coaching staff led by José Luis Martí.

Two players made their debut as part of the starting line-up: the central defender Sergio González and the midfielder Luis Perea. There were also three players who did not finish the last season with the team but have already played with C.D Leganés: Róber Ibáñez, Dani Ojeda and Sabin Merino.

Three more debuts happened on second half: Borja Bastón, Gaku Shibasaki and Juan Muñoz. The forward from Sevilla who played last season on loan at U.D Almería played his first match as a pepinero and also managed to debut as a scorer for the team, kicking the ball in after Avilés assist.
