Gaku Shibasaki opens his scoring account for the season

C.D. Leganés centre midfielder Gaku Shibasaki scored his first goal of the season this Sunday against C.D. Lugo; a deadly finish that put the hosts ahead 1-0 as the second half begun.

Shibasaki netted for the pepineros in the 46', levelling a powerful right foot strike at goal which Vieites was powerless to stop. It was third goal for the club after scoring twice last season, also at the Butarque against Real Oviedo and then A.D. Alcorcón in Santo Domingo. 

After the game, Gaku expressed he was "happy to score my first this season, but we left more disappointed by the result than anything. We have to keep fighting to get victories; at least we got a point, but it felt closer to dropping two. Now I'm off to join the national team but I'll always be cheering on the club and I hope we win the next time out".
