C.D. Leganés player Javi Hernández scored his first brace as a professional footballer this Sunday at the NMR Carlos Tartiere. The player from Jerez has scored three goals so far this season, after the one he scored in Butarque against C.D. Tenerife.
In recent campaigns, Javi had always seen goal at least once: in 2017/18, the one of his debut in Segunda División 'B', he scored two goals with El Ejido against Cartagena and Lorca Deportiva; in 2018/19 he scored a goal with the Real Oviedo subsidiary in a derby against Sporting 'B', and another with the first carbayón team in Los Pajaritos against Numancia.
Last season in Real Madrid Castilla, the '28' scored two goals against Rayo Majadahonda and Coruxo. However, this season he has already surpassed his goal-scoring record with a brace he had never scored before as a professional, in the stadium that was his home two seasons ago.
