José Luis Martí: “We have made a step forward as a team”

C.D Leganés’ manager attended the media after the match that his team played against U.D Logroñés (0-1) at Las Gaunas. The manager was satisfied and proud of his players and thinks it was a suffered and deserved win.

“The pitch was something that conditioned us, but we have played a more direct football. We have played an intelligent game, we managed to read what the match demanded and take a suffered but deserved win. We were compact and understood what we needed, I am proud of my players”.

“We have created some occasions in a match that requires a lot from you. Justice is something that is not valued in football, but I do value my players’ effort and the occasions we have had to score the 0-2. I also remember an occasion in which Cuéllar was perfect. In general terms we were good and deserved the win. We have made a step forward as a team”.
