C.D Leganés’ manager José Luis Martí attended the media after the pepineros’ 1-2 win against Málaga C.F at La Rosaleda. The manager was proud of the team’s work.
The white and blues’ manager believes his team understood the match: “We managed to work fot the match, we were not as good at the beginning of the second half and they created some occasions but we got to score again and take the win. We need to try to make our fans proud of what we do”.

Martí was asked about some of the players that started today: “We tried to play for possession but were not as accurate as we wanted. The team understood well the match. We know Ignasi Miquel, he is performing at great level. We wanted to bring two forwards that gave us some space to play. The rest understood it well, Kevin Bua and Rubén Pardo have been great, but the other players were great too”.
At the end, he thinks that winning allows the team to go for more: “The most important thing is to continue being solid and balanced. Winning is good because it gives you trust to continue growing”.
