C.D Leganés will receive Real Zaragoza’s visit this Thursday (16:30h) at Estadio Municipal Butarque for the seventh matchday of LaLiga SmartBank. The pepineros will be looking to get three more points after winning last Saturday to continue climbing spots in the league’s table.
C.D Leganés returns to Butarque to play two consecutive games in only four days. The team won its first away match of the season last Saturday against U.D Logroñés at Las Gaunas (0-1). The first match of the consecutive home fixture will be against Real Zaragoza. José Luis Martí’s team will try to continue with the good sensations as locals after losing their last home match against Girona F.C (0-1).
The pepineros’ manager will be able to count again with the Venezuelan Roberto Rosales who missed last match against U.D Logroñés because of some physical difficulties after playing with his national team. This could also be the first chance for the Swiss Kevin Bua to be on the squad for an official match. Jonathan Silva and Róber Ibáñez will not be able to be play because of injuries. Juan Muñoz is still recovering after being diagnosed positive for Covid-19, and Lasure will not be available since he is playing on loan from Real Zaragoza.
Real Zaragoza will be looking to recover from their first lost match of the season.
Real Zaragoza comes to Butarque after losing its first match of the season against Málaga C.F at La Romareda (1-2). They have played two games les after having started competing in the third matchday. Despite of the last, they have reached seven points after trying against U.D Las Palmas and winning against Albacete and A.D Alcorcón after the alfareros had an imporper alignment.
The maños’ manager Rubén Baraja will have all his players available. He said in press conference that they fly with “hope, confidence and willing to compete. We have to attack well once we get the ball, try to have continuity and play on our rivals’ side of the pitch”.
