C.D Leganés will visit Málaga C.F this Saturday (14:00h) at La Rosaleda for the 13th matchday of LaLiga SmartBank. The pepineros want to keep their recent-matches good streak and continue at the top tier of the league.
A new away challenge away from Butarque for C.D Leganés with the objective of extending the recent streak of good results. The pepineros have summed 16 of 21 possible points after winning five games and tying another one in the last six matchdays. The team is currently fourth in the league. The white and blues’ have only received two goals in the last seven matches.
The pepineros’ manager José Luis Martí will not be able to count with the midfielder Rubén Pérez after his fifth yellow card of the season against A.D Alcorcón. Injured players Omeruo and Avilés will not be available as well while Jonathan Silva, Rosales, and Gaku Shibasaki are on doubt since they have some physical struggles.
Málaga, to remain strong at home
On the other hand, Málaga C.F arrives to the match after summing four of six possible points on their last visits to Sabadell and Ponferrada. The malaguistas have only lost one home match against the leaders R.C.D Espanyol. A total of two wins, two draws and a loss at La Rosaleda.
The locals will not be able to have their head coach Sergio Pellicer at the bench since he was sent off on the last matchday. The Algerian midfielder Benkhemassa is also sanctioned and will not be available.
