Match preview: C.D Leganés wants to get the first away win of the season at Castalia (Sunday, 18:15h)

C.D Leganés will visit C.D Castellón this Sunday (18:15h) at Castalia for the fourth Matchday of LaLiga SmartBank. The pepineros have won twice at home and will be looking for their first away match to reach the top of the league.

C.D Leganés will play the fourth matchday of the season after winning last week against F.C Cartagena (3-1). The white and blues played a massive match and practically won it in the first half. They will be looking to continue with the streak and win their first away match after not being able to do it on their last visit against Lugo (2-1).

Possible debut for the latest arrivals

The pepineros manager will have the almost certain absences of goalkeeper Iván Cuéllar, left back Jonathan Silva and winger Kevin Bua, the first two recovering from an injury and the last one in the process of adapting to the teams’ rhythm. Roberto Rosales and Javier Avilés are in doubt after having some issues last match and training separated from the group during the week.

The last four arrivals of the club may be able to make their debuts with the team: defenders Sergi Palencia and Javi Hernández, midfielder Rubén Pardo and striker Miguel de la Fuente.

C.D Castellón has summed four of nine possible points in their return to the category ten years later

C.D Castellón will be playing their second home match after their return to the silver category ten years later. The white and blacks achieved the promotion some months ago and have started the competition in a correct way, achieving four points in the first three matchdays after winning against S.D Ponferradina on their debut match (1-2), tying against U.D Logroñés (1-1) and loosing against Málaga C.F (0-1).

The locals’ coach Óscar Cano will not be able to count with the central defender Rafa Gálvez after he was sent off on the last match and must pay a match of sanction. The castellonenses have a former pepinero in their lines: Carlos Delgado, who wore the white and blue jersey in the 2014/15 season, the first of the club in second division after getting promoted from the silver category.

The match referee will be Mr. D. Iñaki Vicandi Garrido.
