Naim García has been awarded the Jugador Cinco Estrellas trophy for December. It is his first time winning the honour, which celebrates the best player across last month's fixtures and is sponsored by Mahou, the club's official beer.
Mahou Cinco Estrellas has been able to connect the fans to the club and the club to its fans through the initiative. Naim, who scored his first against Jerez, expressed his gratitude to the fans, with the hopes that "things get even better. I hope we can give a good account of ourselves against Burgos and keep battling as we have so far".
How to find the Jugador Cinco Estrellas
Fans are invited to vote on Twitter, visiting the @futbolmahou account, who together with C.D. Leganés (@cdleganes) count the votes between the five nominated players with the hashtag #JugadorCincoEstrellas. Voting is counted either through retweets or likes of the name of the desired player, within the set deadline. Once the count has been completed, the winner is announced.

Since 2018, Mahou has been the most globally awarded and recognised Spanish range of beers: international recognition as much for its excellency and master brewership, as its exceptional flavour.
About Mahou San Miguel
A 100% family company from Spain that leads the country in the beer sector with a production share of over 32%.
Numbering ten production centres, eight in Spain and two others in the EEUU, as well as four fresh water springs alongside its bottling plants that are, all in all, manned by a team of almost 4,000 professional staff, Mahou also counts on over 130 years of brewing experience since its inception in 1890. It was in 2000 that Mahou acquired San Miguel, but Reina and Cervezas Alhambra would both go on to be incorporated into the family in 2004 and 2007, respectfully. Yet during the last decade, diversification has been the focus; the acquisition of Solán de Cabras in 2011 as relevant as Mahou's steps into the cider industry as recently as 2020.
As such, the enterprise represents a broad range of national beers, among them Mahou Cinco Estrellas, San Miguel Especial and Alhambra Reserva 1925; all trailblazers in the respective areas, as well as non-alcoholic lines San Miguel 0,0, San Miguel ECO, Mahou Barrica and gluten-free brands like San Miguel Gluten Free and Mahou Cinco Estrellas Sin Gluten. Lastly, the company's international portfolio should also be highlighted, including water brand Solán de Cabras. Internationalisation has been the thrust of their corporate strategy and business development, but currently Mahou produces more than 70% of Spanish beers consumed abroad and has consolidated its presence in over 70 countries.
