Preview: C.D. Leganés seeks three points in derby against A.D. Alcorcón

C.D. Leganés visits A.D. Alcorcón this Sunday (18:15) at the Santo Domingo Stadium, in a match corresponding to the thirty-sixth round of LaLiga SmartBank. The pepineros will be looking for an away win in the derby to consolidate their position in the promotion play-off places.

C.D. Leganés faces a new outing, in what will be the first of the two Madrid derbies to be played away from Butarque. After last Monday's draw against S.D. Ponferradina, the pepineros face the last seven matchdays of the championship from fourth position, looking for a place in the playoffs for promotion to LaLiga Santander.
For Sunday's match, the Blue and Whites' coach, Asier Garitano, will not be able to count on defenders Rodrigo Tarín and Kenneth Omeruo, both suspended after their fifth yellow card and expulsion against Ponferradina, respectively. Daniel Lasure, Unai Bustinza and Ignasi Miquel, who are injured, will also be absent, while the participation of Miguel de la Fuente will be doubtful after his heavy blow from the previous matchday.

A.D. Alcorcón, looking to get closer to the relegation zone

For its part, A.D. Alcorcón arrives to the match in a great moment after two consecutive victories that allowed it to get out of the relegation places. The alfareros won at home against C.D. Castellón (2-1) and then took the three points on their visit to C.D. Lugo (1-3), which has led them to escape the red zone at the start of the day, although F.C.
