C.D. Leganés receives C.F. Fuenlabrada this Saturday (20:30) at the Estadio Municipal Butarque, in a match corresponding to the thirtieth matchday of LaLiga SmartBank. The pepineros will try to keep getting closer to the direct promotion places against a rival that also wants to climb positions.
C.D. Leganés returns to play at Butarque, where they have become the best local team in the whole category: the Blue and Whites are the team that has obtained the most points at their stadium, a total of 35 in the fifteen matches played at home, as a result of twelve wins, one draw and only two defeats. In addition, they do so after getting back to a good feeling at home by winning last matchday in Oviedo (1-3).
The pepineros start the day in fourth position, three points behind second place and two points behind third, so they will be looking for another win that will bring them closer to the direct promotion positions. For this, coach Asier Garitano will not be able to count on injured players Jonathan Silva, Lasure and Avilés, while Omeruo could return to the squad after overcoming his recent physical problems.
C.F. Fuenlabrada, looking to continue their good form away from home
For its part, C.F. Fuenlabrada arrives at Butarque in fourteenth position, seven points above the relegation zone and ten points away from the promotion play-off places. The fuenlabreños are the king of draws in the category, having drawn in fifteen of the twenty-nine league matches played so far. Their balance in the table is completed with seven wins and seven defeats.
The coach, José Luis Oltra, is facing his seventh match as coach of the blue and blues, having won one match, drawn four and lost one. Fuenla is the fifth best away team in all of LaLiga, having won five of their seven away victories at the Fernando Torres. For tomorrow's match, Fuenla will be without the suspended Pathé Ciss, sent off in the last match against U.D. Las Palmas, as well as the injured Kanté, Sekou Gassama, Iban Salvador, Pol Valentín and Aguado.
The match will be refereed by the referee from Extremadura, Mr. Francisco José Hernández Maeso.
