C.D. Leganés will count on Sergio "Queco" Piña Cousillas as the new goalkeepers coach of the first team. The player from A Coruña returns to the club, of which he was part as goalkeeper for two and a half seasons between 2014 and 2016, being an integral part of the squads that achieved two promotions from Segunda 'B' to First Division.
Queco, 40 years old, played 31 official matches as pepinero: twelve in his first season, in which he arrived in the winter market and became the starting goalkeeper in the final stretch of the season and the 'play-off' of promotion, fifteen in 2014/15, already in Second Division, and four in 2015/16, in which C.D. Leganés ended up achieving the historic promotion to First Division. With an extensive career in Second and Second Division 'B', he also played in R.C. Celta 'B', C.D. Ourense, Racing de Ferrol, Alicante C.F., S.D. Ponferradina, Orihuela C.F. and S.D. Huesca. Now he begins a new stage in Butarque in the coaching staff headed by Asier Garitano as the club's goalkeepers coach.
