C.D. Leganés midfielder Rubén Pardo scored his first goal in an official match this Sunday in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The midfielder from La Rioja made his debut as a scorer with a free kick in the second half of the match against the Yellows, which meant the momentary tie on the scoreboard.
It was the 70th minute of the match when the referee decreed a dangerous foul in favor of C.D. Leganés on the edge of the area. Pardo took the ball and opted for a tight shot at the goalkeeper's post, who could not reach the shot of the Blue and Whites' '25'. It was 1-1 and his first goal as a Pepinero player.
In the end, the goal was not enough for Leganés to obtain a positive result in their visit to Las Palmas. The player from La Rioja became the tenth Leganés goal scorer this season.
